Tecquipment H1F Digital Hydraulic Waterbench F3-B (Zachry Common Labs - 1st Floor: Phillips 66 Fluids Lab, F3)

Description
The H1F hydraulic bench is a mobile, self-contained water bench with 160 litres capacity.
It provides water at different flow rates direct to experiments and includes digital flow display (0.1L.min-1 resolutions) for hydraulic and fluid mechanics experiments.
1. Bernoulli Apparatus - This apparatus is a regular convergent/divergent passage with a fixed head input tanl and variable heat outlet tank. A manometer is arrange along the length of the variable area section to measure the pressure distribution.
2. Center of Pressure - A pivoted clear plastic assembly which students use to find the centre of pressure of a totally or partially submerged plane surface. Compact, self-contained and excellent for classroom demonstrations
3. Tecquipment (TQ) Investigates different ways of measuring flow including a Venturi meter, an orifice plate and a rotameter. At the same time shows applications of the steady flow energy equation (Bernoulli's Equation)
4. Flow through an Orifice - An apparatus to study of the flow of water through a vertically mounted orifice. Lets students measure decrease in flow, contraction of the stream, and energy loss.
5. Impact of Jets - This accessory mounts on the hydraulic bench base unit. It is used to measure the force from a water jet for various geometries. Allow students to investigate the forces produced by a water jet striking a flat or a curved surface.
6. Pressure Gauge Calibration - A bench mounting apparatus for calibrating Bourdon type pressure gauges using deadweight techniques.
7. Pressure Management bench - A bench mounting apparatus to enable practical demonstrations and investigations into pressure and vacuum measurement techniques using manometers and Bourdon type gauges.
8. Flow through Weirs - For students to investigate the discharge of water over a variety of different shaped weirs. A fully compatible and interchangeable optional ancillary for use with TecQuipment's Digital Hydraulic Bench.
